What it costs

Your Pool Doesn't Need Replacing.
It Needs Rebuilding.

In most cases the shell is fine. It's the plaster, the tile and the coping that make the whole backyard look old. Here's what each one costs on a standard 20×30 pool.

Resurfacing

From $12,000

New plaster, demolition and start-up chemicals. Warrantied 2 years.

Pebble Finish

From $16,000

Stonescapes pebble instead of plaster. Warrantied 5 years.

Most requested

Full Remodel

From $25,000

Coping, tile and plaster. Travertine or poured-in-place concrete.

We also do concrete decking, artificial rock and new pool construction — quoted on the visit.

Why Spring Pools and Spas

What Went Wrong Last Time

These are the three things homeowners tell us about the contractor they used before. Here's how we handle each one.

×

"The job sat for months."

We come in, we work, we leave.

Our own crews start your pool and stay on it until it's filled and running.

×

"The price climbed after I signed."

The number is public before you call.

Nobody else in San Diego publishes remodel prices. Your written estimate comes from the same numbers you just read.

×

"The salesman disappeared."

You deal with the owners.

An owner takes your first call, Ramón walks the pool himself, and they run the build. No commissioned rep in between.

How it works

Three Steps. No Surprises.

1

A 15-minute planning call

We call you from (619) 975-7160 to go over the pool you have and what you want done, then set a time for the visit.

2

Ramón sees the pool

He comes to your property, checks the shell, tile and coping, and shows you the materials in person.

3

One written number

One scope, one price, one start date. Then our crews go in and build it.

Questions

Before You Call.

What's the difference between resurfacing and a full remodel?

Resurfacing replaces the plaster only, from $12,000. A full remodel replaces the coping, the tile and the plaster, from $25,000. If your tile is falling off or your coping is cracked, resurfacing alone won't fix how the pool looks.

Someone quoted me less. Why?

Ask what's not in it. The most common things left out are demolition, start-up chemicals, coping, tile, and any written warranty. Ours includes them, and the finish is warrantied 2 years on plaster and 5 on pebble.

Do I pay everything up front?

No. Projects are paid in 3 to 4 stages as the work moves. A $25,000 remodel is typically four payments.

Are you licensed?

Yes. CSLB #1112503, classification C-53 Swimming Pool, active, with a $25,000 contractor's bond and workers' compensation on file. You can verify it at cslb.ca.gov in about thirty seconds.
