Resurfacing from $12,000. Full remodel from $25,000. On a standard 20 × 30 pool.
What it costs
In most cases the shell is fine. It's the plaster, the tile and the coping that make the whole backyard look old. Here's what each one costs on a standard 20×30 pool.
New plaster, demolition and start-up chemicals. Warrantied 2 years.
Stonescapes pebble instead of plaster. Warrantied 5 years.
Coping, tile and plaster. Travertine or poured-in-place concrete.
We also do concrete decking, artificial rock and new pool construction — quoted on the visit.

These are the three things homeowners tell us about the contractor they used before. Here's how we handle each one.
"The job sat for months."
Our own crews start your pool and stay on it until it's filled and running.
"The price climbed after I signed."
Nobody else in San Diego publishes remodel prices. Your written estimate comes from the same numbers you just read.
"The salesman disappeared."
An owner takes your first call, Ramón walks the pool himself, and they run the build. No commissioned rep in between.

"I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and truly exceeded my expectations."
— Max Stoneham, Google Review"They came out, took all the loose broken pieces off and re-plastered it. Painted and sealed it and it looks amazing. It literally looks brand new."

Resurfacing replaces the plaster only, from $12,000. A full remodel replaces the coping, the tile and the plaster, from $25,000. If your tile is falling off or your coping is cracked, resurfacing alone won't fix how the pool looks.
Ask what's not in it. The most common things left out are demolition, start-up chemicals, coping, tile, and any written warranty. Ours includes them, and the finish is warrantied 2 years on plaster and 5 on pebble.
